Publish Books

Aloka Publications welcomes book proposals from academics, researchers, and practitioners worldwide. We publish peer-reviewed monographs, edited volumes, textbooks, and reference works in pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences, medicine and the allied health professions, and across science and engineering.

What We Publish

• Monographs — focused scholarly treatments of a single research topic
• Edited volumes — multi-author collections around a common theme, with chapter contributions
• Textbooks — course-oriented titles for undergraduate and postgraduate study
• Reference works — handbooks, laboratory manuals, and practice guides

How to Submit a Proposal

Email your proposal to info@alokapublications.com with the following:

1. Working title and a one-page synopsis of the book
2. Table of contents / chapter plan
3. Statement of aims, scope, and intended readership
4. Estimated length (words or pages) and expected completion date
5. Brief CVs of the author(s) or editor(s), with affiliation and contact details
6. For edited volumes: a tentative list of contributors, if available

Review and Publication Process

1. Editorial screening — our editorial team assesses the proposal for scope and quality (within two weeks)
2. Peer review — suitable proposals and manuscripts are reviewed by subject experts
3. Decision and agreement — accepted projects receive a publishing agreement setting out terms and schedule
4. Production — professional copyediting, typesetting, and cover design
5. Publication — release in the Aloka Publications catalog with a permanent web page for each title
